Football Star Aaron Ramsey Increases Incentive for Lost Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the reward for information concerning the missing canine named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of information concerning our pet Halo kindly contact us. Substantial reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is unharmed and will return to our family shortly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
Initial Reward and Emotional Appeals
The footballer initially disclosed that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has since shared multiple photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A seven thousand five hundred pound incentive was originally provided, but with no news on Halo's location after a week, the player and his family raised the reward.
"All we desire is Halo home," he stated in an additional plea on his online platforms after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
The latest picture share is a black and white snapshot of Halo sleeping, its head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "How I wish to embrace you again Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
Ramsey has also shared a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "pressing concerns" about the disappearance and worry the family "could possibly not receive answers".
"We still haven't found our dog. I don't think we will," his wife's message read.
