Based on recent data, the population of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has tripled from 910 to 3,100. Over the same timeframe, the count of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from centenarians, their relatives or companions, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s seismic events and developments.
